A two track release from Mike City and Ian Friday, ‘Used 2 Be’ remixed by
One of House Music’s go to producer, Mark Francis and ‘Seems Like Forever’ remixed by the emerging talents of another New Jersey producer Reggie Steele
Seem Like Forever, a beautifully crafted remix by Reggie Steele, a rhythmic soulful afro groove, with a hypnotic feel, Mike City’s heart felt vocals fit perfectly on this production warm keys, nicely arranged drums and bass line makes this sure a fire hit. 4/5
Second track, ‘Used 2 be’ Mark Francis serves up his signature Deep Soulful Afro sound on this remix, nice afro drums, warm melodic keys and bass line. Again Mike City’s vocal our on point, nicely written lyrics and beautifully sung. 4/5

Emerging French DJ/Producer Folamour brings the heat with this very interesting production, an infectious jazzy, funky, groove, fused with live Drums and horn samples, laced with some nice keyboard work too.
The funky bass line sits quite subtly underneath the drum track,
Very interesting release, which I feel will do down well on the dance floors everywhere 4/5

A solid remix package out on Scooby & Frees Records remixes by Jihad Muhammad, Doug Gomez, Shino Blackk, Vjuan Allure and Echo Deep
Jihad’s Muhammad brings is signature Soulful Afro sound to this wonderful song, with vocal duties coming the wonderful Dana Weaver. Smooth Afro groove, with some nice piano chords, a must have track if you love this kind of
Vibe. Merecumbe Records head honcho Doug Gomez brings his own Afro vibe to this track, nice melodic production works well with Dana’s vocal.
Shino Black brings us more Afro goodness, with a nice bumpy bass line
Vijuan Allure’s peak time remix will have dance floors moving and grooving. Big drums sounds with an infectious groove. Echo Deep’s remix is deeper and darker than the other mixes, deep drums and bass line added with some cool effects and key sounds. An all round solid package for Scoob & Freez Records. The UWC Team anticipate big thing for Scoob & Freez and there label in 2019 #watchthisspace 4/5

A great collaboration here from another one of house music go to guys DJ Beloved brings us a smooth soulful song, with elegant vocals from soul music legend, Will Downing. Beautifully produced and sang superbly, I think real soul music lovers will love this as well as soulful house heads. A wonderful track taken from DJ Beloved’s fabulous album Hopeless Romantic out on Quantize 4/5
